This year, Maryland Therapeutic Riding’s Live! On The Farm concert features four-time CMA (Country Music Artist) award winner Kathy Mattea. This two time Grammy winner and environmental activist delivers timeless narratives and melodies steeped in emotion, delivered with beauty by an unmistakable voice. With eighteen top-ten songs including such classic hits as "Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses," "Where've You Been," and "Come From The Heart," Mattea blends bluegrass and folk with her longtime signature sound. Kathy will be inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame on Saturday, 15 October 2011 at the Cultural Center Theatre in Charleston, WV. For more than 40 years, The Hard Travelers have been delighting audiences from DC to Japan. The Hard Travelers appeared in the Washington, D.C. area at the Cellar Door and the Live Eye, where artists like John Denver, the Mama and Papas, and Bill Cosby got their start. The Travelers are dedicated to finding ways to use their music as a vehicle to make a difference in the world. Over eleven million dollars have been raised for various charities.
